Whipped Cream & Cool Whip Recipe
Have you ever heard of a dessert lasagna? No, this is not a dish made with meat and cheese. Instead, it’s a unique dessert that combines all your favorite sweet ingredients into one dish.
What is a Dessert Lasagna
A dessert lasagna is a layered dessert that is made with chocolate wafer cookies, cream cheese, whipped topping, and pudding. It’s a great idea for a party because it’s easy to make and tastes delicious. It’s like eating chocolate cake, pudding, whipped topping and cookies all in one! This yummy treat is so good that you’ll want to share it with your friends and family at any special occasion!
First layer: Put one cookie in the bottom of your serving dish. Mix together one container of whipped topping and 8 ounces of cream cheese until smooth. Spread this mixture over the cookie layer as an even layer using a spatula or knife (it helps if you put parchment paper underneath your dish first). Refrigerate until ready to use again later on in the process!
Second layer: Repeat step one but add 4 more Oreos on top this time instead of just 1 so that it’s more filling! Thirdly pour half of pudding mix onto top again using same method as before mentioned above from last paragraph.
1 package (12 ounces) chocolate wafer cookies, crushed
1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
In a bowl, combine the sugar and cinnamon. When using this mixture, you can either sprinkle it on top of the lasagna or toss it with the cooked noodles before layering them into your casserole dish.
¼ cup butter, melted
- Melt the butter.
- Add 2 tablespoons of sugar, ½ teaspoon cinnamon and ¼ cup melted butter to a small bowl. Mix well until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
1 can (14 to 16 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon vanilla extract or vanilla bean paste
½ cup confectioners’ sugar
To make the cream cheese frosting, simply mix together ½ cup confectioners’ sugar and 1 stick butter. It’s that simple!
2 cups cold milk
For the best result, use whole milk.
1 package (3.9 ounces) instant chocolate pudding mix
To make the chocolate pudding, place the dry mix in a large bowl. Add 2 cups of milk and whisk until smooth. Pour into individual dishes or a baking dish with ramekins and refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
- Note: If you don’t have time to wait, you can always place it in the freezer instead!
1 carton (8 ounces) frozen whipped topping, thawed
If you’re unfamiliar with whipped topping, it’s a delicious dessert that is similar to ice cream. It comes in a tub and is usually used as the topping on pies and other desserts.
To thaw whipped topping, place the carton in the refrigerator overnight.
Instructions
- Prepare cookie crumbs and butter mixture:
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Combine the cookie crumbs, butter and sugar in a medium bowl. Press into the bottom of a 9, inch springform pan with removable sides (or glass baking dish). Bake until golden brown, 15 to 17 minutes. Cool completely before filling.
