Beef tamales are a traditional Mexican food that is prepared with a corn dough that is prepared with beef and your choice of hot spices. They are a perfect compliment to any Mexican dish, but also taste great with a little sour cream and some salsa. Beef tamales are a delicacy that can often be found on the dinner table during the holidays.

How To Make Beef Tamales

Beef tamales are a traditional Mexican food, that is often prepared on special occasions like Christmas or New Years Day. To make tamales you’ll need a package of corn husks, finely ground beef, a corn masa mix, cumin, salt, and water. The corn masa mix is a corn flour that is mixed with a lime, salt, and water. The masa dough can also be seasoned with salt and pepper, and sometimes with other spices, such as cumin, achiote, or garlic.

The masa dough is used to wrap around a variety of fillings like cheese and of course, beef in this case because we’re talking about making beef tamales. Once wrapped, the tamales are then placed in a long, narrow pot, a steamer, and then covered in a damp cloth or towel. They can be wrapped in cornhusks or banana leaves for a meatier flavor and a more interesting texture.

What Is The Difference Between Beef And Lamb Tamales?

Some people might not understand the difference between a beef and lamb tamales. Beef is made from raw ground beef, and is made mostly with beef. Lamb is made from a raw ground lamb, and is made mostly with lamb. Lamb is generally leaner than beef, and the flavor is stronger than beef. Lamb is also a little more expensive than beef.

Lamb is also a little more difficult than beef to season, but once you have the recipe down, it’s much easier. They both have their own unique taste and color, so it is easy to tell which one is which. Lamb tamales are a light beige color, and beef tamales are dark brown. Lamb tamales also have a more delicate taste, while beef tamales are more savory. As for the texture, lamb tamales are softer than beef tamales.

Eating A Beef Tamale With Salsa Or In A Tamale Pie?

For many people especially those who often encounter this question, it’s a dilemma. The traditional way to eat a beef tamale is to remove the corn husk and corn masa and dip it in a bowl of salsa. But what if you prefer it in a tamale pie? Or what if you just want to eat it in the traditional way? Eating a beef tamale with salsa is a great option, and the perfect way to enjoy the savory flavors of a tamale.

You can eat this dish on its own, or as a side dish to a larger meal. Tamales are also a great filling for a tamale pie. You can even make this dish as a casserole, by adding other ingredients and baking it. Whether you prefer your beef tamale with salsa or in a tamale pie, you’ll never regret trying this savory dish for your next family gathering.
