Frozen Strawberry Daiquiri Recipe: The Easiest Cocktail Ever!
This recipe for a frozen strawberry daiquiri is super easy to make and really delicious. It’s the perfect cocktail for a hot summer day or any time you want something fruity, creamy and sweet.
The most amazing Frozen Strawberry Daiquiri is made with a load of fresh, frozen strawberries!! No ice to dilute the flavor, and it’s got the perfect slushy consistency. Dangerously easy to drink – there’s a decent slug of booze in this but you can’t taste it!
What is Frozen Strawberry Daiquiri
A frozen strawberry daiquiri is a cocktail made with rum, lime juice, sugar and strawberries. They are often served in a tall glass rimmed with powdered sugar, although you can also get them in more exotic flavors (lemonade, pina colada) or without the alcohol. You can make your own at home but it’s generally best to order them out because they tend to be pricey for how easy they are to make yourself.
What’s in Frozen Strawberry Daiquiris?
Fresh strawberries, some of which are frozen. If you just use frozen, it has the consistency of sorbet and requires a spoon to eat. So I prefer to mix frozen and fresh ingredients!
White rum: My go, to white rum is Bacardi, but you may also use Havana Club, Appleton, or Cruz. Bacardi is a white rum of average grade. You may use any decent value or mid, level white rum in this cocktail recipe because of the fresh strawberry flavor. For flavored cocktails, I personally avoid using premium liquor since I believe it to be a waste.
Preparation Time: 5 minutes
The preparation time for this drink is only 5 minutes, so it’s great for anyone who needs to make it in advance. You can also make it without alcohol or with less alcohol if you want to save some calories. If you want to add ice cubes to your frozen strawberry daiquiri, simply pour in a few before adding the rest of the ingredients and blending away!

A quick and easy recipe for frozen strawberry daiquiris.
- You need to be sure that you have all the ingredients.
- You also need to make sure that you have all the equipment and tools for making this frozen strawberry daiquiri recipe.
- You should also check with your local government and make sure that you’re up, to, date on any necessary permits, licenses, or certifications required for working with alcohol. This is especially important if this is your first time making a frozen strawberry daiquiri or if any of your equipment hasn’t been properly maintained recently.
A good way to ensure that everything goes smoothly is by taking some time beforehand so as not only to get familiar with what goes into creating these delicious drinks but also how each individual ingredient will react together when mixed together in a blender (or whatever else).
Make it an Alcohol Free
Use apple juice instead of the white rum! The layers of flavor in the fruit juice will provide this drink that the rum adds a little something more. If you only use water, the result will be a strawberry slushy, which is still delicious but lacks the added layer of flavor that liquor lends to drinks. With these simple strawberry daiquiris made with either frozen or fresh, luscious, in, season strawberries if you can get them, it’s now officially happy hour. A little lemon, lime soda and some citrus juice really increase the ante in terms of strawberry taste and effervescence. You won’t ever need to purchase daiquiri mixes or canned, ready, made daiquiris again if you double or quadruple this recipe for a party. For a batch of the greatest strawberry, citrus cocktails around, omit the rum!
This is a great recipe to make on the fly. If you’re hosting a party, it’s easy to double or triple this recipe and have plenty of drinks available. It also makes them perfect for any occasion where you want something sweet and delicious but not too alcoholic, tasting!
