How To Cook A Healthy Mushroom Cabbage Roll

Mushroom cabbage rolls are a yummy, healthy, and filling meal that the whole family will love. They’re perfect for a make-ahead dish that can be served as a meal or a side dish. Cooking a healthy mushroom cabbage roll is not as difficult as you might think. You will need: 1 head of cabbage, 1 onion, 1 pound of fresh mushrooms, 2 tablespoons of butter, 1 garlic clove, and salt and pepper to taste.

Start by chopping up the cabbage, onion, and mushrooms. Throw the onion and garlic in a large skillet and cook over medium-high heat for 3-5 minutes. Add the butter and cook for another 3 to 5 minutes. Add the cabbage and cook for about 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Fill the rolls with salt, pepper and the cabbage mixture and cook for about 10 minutes.

How To Use Cabbage

Cabbage is often overlooked because of its off color, but taste it and see how you like it! Cabbage is a powerhouse of nutrition and contains a lot of vitamins and minerals. How to use cabbage: 1. Cut the cabbage in to long, thin strips and soak in cold water for 10 minutes. 2. In a large pan, boil the cabbage in just enough water to cover the cabbage. 3. Drain the cabbage, then fry it in butter. 4. In a pot, boil the cabbage in salted water for about 5 minutes.

If you want to make a cabbage tonic all you need is a head of cabbage, 2 cups of water, and 1 teaspoon of sea salt. You slice the cabbage and boil it in the water for 10 minutes. Then you let it cool and drink it. There are many cabbage recipes, including coleslaw, cabbage soup, and cabbage fried rice. Cabbage is also a traditional ingredient in dishes such as sauerkraut, kimchi, and borscht.
