One of the most delicious dishes that can be eaten, shrimp is a great option for dinner no matter what the occasion. It’s protein-packed and full of flavor. Shrimp can be grilled, fried, or boiled and eaten with no seasoning, or they can be spiced up with some great additions. One of the most popular ways to spice up shrimp is by adding some traditional southern style flavors to it like spicy southern style shrimp.

Spicy Southern Style Shrimp with Lemon Basil Orzo

Summer has officially arrived. And what could be more refreshing for a hot day than a bowl of spicy Southern Style Shrimp with Lemon Basil Orzo? This dish is as vibrant as it is flavorful. It’s the perfect light meal to enjoy on a hot summer day. The shrimp is lightly fried in a light cornmeal breading and served with a lemon basil orzo that is both flavorful and light. 

My favorite kind of shrimp is the spicy kind. I like to rub some cayenne pepper and Cajun seasoning on the shrimp before I cook it up. I cook my shrimp in a pan with some olive oil and cook it on medium-high to high heat. I like to serve my shrimp with butter and a side of garlic bread.

The best way to prepare the perfect creamy Tuscan shrimp is to prepare the sauce first. To make the sauce, you need to whisk together cream, garlic, salt and pepper to taste. Heat up a skillet and add in some butter. Once the butter has melted and starts to brown, add in the shrimp and cook them for about 2-3 minutes. Next, add in the sauce and cook until the shrimp has reached the desired doneness.
